Cleaning up with pride

CLERMONT -- Odoronix -- a specialty carpet cleaning, odor removal and duct cleaning service in Clermont -- has been awarded the prestigious 2009 Angie's List Super Service Award.
The Super Service Award, now celebrating its 11th year, is reserved for companies who have achieved and maintained a superior service rating in the past year on Angie's List, the nation's leading provider of consumer ratings on local service companies. Fewer than five percent of the companies on Angie's List meet the eligibility requirements.
A company must be nominated by one of its customers.
"Our Super Service Award winners are the cream of the crop when it comes to providing the best customer service," Angie's List founder Angie Hicks said.
Odoronix owner Liam Hail said the award means a lot to him, particularly since it was customer initiated. He takes great pride in the company's commitment to customer service, including training all his technicians to achieve the highest levels of professionalism and courtesy.
"We do make a promise that our customer service is better than anyone else's around," Hail said. "That's the whole thing. I didn't set this thing up to become a multi millionaire overnight. I did it because I knew I could provide a good service that would give me happy customers in return because what they were looking for got done the best way it could."
Odoronix provides Host DRY carpet cleaning, AC duct cleaning, dryer vent cleaning and odor removal services to residential and commercial clients.
Odoronix also does air quality and allergy testing. It's a rare but important service for customers who are having problems tracking down causes of allergy-related symptoms such as sneezing or streaming eyes, Hail said.
Hail also prides himself in his "green" status and use of all-natural and recycled products.
"We do try to use all natural products and use no chemicals unless there is no other alternative. We also use all recycled products, right down to the business cards we hand out to the paper our invoices are printed on," Hail said.
The company is a proud member of the South Lake Chamber of Commerce as well as the central Florida chapter of the Better Business Bureau and uses state of the art equipment.
One example is the machinery Hail uses for duct cleaning.
"We actually put a color-cam video inspection camera in the ducts to see what's going on in there. We clean from the inside out, which is way more effective," Hail said.
Odoronix services the major part of central Florida from south Lake County to The Villages, from Daytona to St. Cloud.
Odoronix is open 8 a.m.-5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and Saturday mornings by appointment. Other times can also be arranged.
