Riding into the future

MONTVERDE | EQUESTRIAN PROGRAM

The equestrian grounds on the 125-acre Montverde Academy was the site for the recent Montverde Academy Equestrian Center Open Breed 2012 Horse Show Series, where students taking riding lessons through the school's equestrian program had the oppor-tunity to compete and show horses in the riding discipline of their choice. Students are instructed on walking seat, English and western; and hunter/jumper. Montverde Academy hails its equestrian program as a supplement to its college preparatory education. Students learn good horsemanship, general stable management skills and develop character traits of dedication, discipline and self confidence.
