'All Around Town' details wonders of Easter
The following is an excerpt from the column "All Around Town" by Mrs. A. R. Leffler:
"One of the nicer parts of Easter Day was getting up so early one wonders if anyone else will be out, going over to Kiwanis Park on Crystal Lake, and finding that many hundreds also had the same idea for there they were before daylight listening to the birds and watching them careening over the lake as the daylight came.
"The songs rang out the joyous Easter welcome and the birds joined in, the ducks made a line across the water and a sandpiper looked on.
"As the sermon finished, the sun broke through and beams marked golden lines to celebrate the day."
