Business helps customers putt around

MINNEOLA -- As of April 1, Andy Preston opened the doors to Central Florida Golf Carts with one thing in mind: providing more choices to the people of South Lake.
"We offer a fast, reliable service with new and used golf carts to fit all budgets," said Preston, the store's owner.
Preston, who moved here with his family from the United Kingdom about one year ago, opened Central Florida Golf Carts with his wife, Caroline, after assessing what products would be well received in the area.
The business, located at 307-D Highway 27 in Minneola, is family run and is open from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Tuesdays through Fridays and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturdays.
Central Florida Golf Carts is an exclusive E-Z-GO dealership and offers new and used models, with a consideration for every budget, Preston said.
Though Preston only carries E-Z-GO carts, service and repairs can be done on any cart regardless of make or model. And pick-up and delivery are free, he said, adding that financing is available on most purchases and trade-ins are always welcome.
Preston said a lot of his customers have commented on how much they like the shop's indoor showroom.
"The beauty of our shop is that all our carts are on display inside. It's all under cover so regardless of the weather, our customers can get a good look at what we have," Preston said.
Carts are not all that Preston carries; he has a full range of accessories available as well.
Preston said he is inviting the entire community to have a look at what Central Florida Golf Carts has to offer and to take advantage of the many offers he has made available this month.
"People are getting to know we are here and we're glad to serve them," Preston said.
