Mrs. Turkevicius spoke how the AMIkids 3 day treatment organization whose mission is to provide services through a balanced approach that raises education levels, reduce delinquency, increase public safety and assure offender accountability. The South Lake Rotary honors each guest speaker with a book donated in their name to the local schools and library. Rotary club members are volunteers who work locally, regionally, and internationally to combat hunger, improve health and sanitation, provide education and job training, promote peace, and eradicate polio under the motto Service Above Self.
