Neighborhood watch volunteers are being credited in the arrest of one of their residents who posed as a Realtor before burglarizng a neighbor's home.
Clermont police said Alan Wright, 49, allegedly told the owner of the home for sale he was a Relator when he was spotted with the front door's lockbox in his hand that held keys to the residence.
West was charged Monday with burglary and placed in the Lake County jail in lieu of $5,000 bail.
According to police, residents of the home in the 400 block of West Osceola Street found Wright on March 18 in front of their home with the lock box in his hand, a device Relators use.
