Be sure to include some local events in your weekend plans, from a veterans concert, to festivals, to a world record potluck event. Eustis High School will present a Veterans Day concert today at the Ferran Park bandshell. If a festival is what you're looking for, look to Montverde Day Friday night and Saturday or the Frank Thomas Folk Music and Heritage Festival in Bushnell Saturday. This is the last weekend to travel back to 1606 at the Lady of the Lakes Renaissance Faire in Tavares. If potluck is your thing, join in the Guinness World Record potluck attempt in Mount Dora. Pooches can strut their stuff at events in Leesburg on Saturday and Eustis on Sunday.

This is what's On Tap.
