This weekend is your last chance to see the musical 'Mame' about a woman who lives in the 1920s and believes "life is a banquet” at the Melon Patch in Leesburg. Local theater takes a break for the holidays and will start again in January.

You can catch the 'Barbara Streisand: Holiday Memories' tribute at the Historic State Theatre in Eustis or the Yee Haw Country Christmas Family Show Friday and Saturday at the Orange Blossom Opry in Weirsdale.

Let's Hang On!, a tribute to Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons with all their hits is on stage at the Orange Blossom Opry Sunday.

'Mame'

“Mame,” a musical about a free-spirited woman in the 1920s whose guardianship of her 10-year-old nephew turns her life upside down, runs through Sunday at the Melon Patch Theatre, 311 N. 13th St. in Leesburg.

“This is a must see show because it's about living life to its fullest,” said director John Turcotte. “She gets a maternal instinct she never had before, but she's still very avant garde, Bohemian, and there are so many things she does other people don't approve of.”

Songs from the production include “We Need a Little Christmas” and “Bosom Buddies.”

Barbra Streisand: Holiday Memories

A Barbara Streisand tribute stars multiple award-winning Carla DelVillaggio wearing meticulously detailed replicas of iconic concert gowns. Along with the Streisand look and and high energy vocals, DelVillagio help recreate the perfect illusion as Streisand. The show includes some of Streisand's Christmas songs, along with several classic holiday tunes. Wednesday at 2:30 and 7 p.m. at the Historic State Theatre, 109 N. Bay Street, Eustis. Yee Haw Country Christmas Family Show

Join Suzanne and The Opry Band as they bring back the unforgettable characters of the 'Hee Haw” television show with special guests at each performance at the Orange Blossom Opry 16439 S. Take a trip down memory lane with Let's Hang On!, a tribute to Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons with crisp harmonies and sleek choreography and some of the best music from the 1960s.
