Start out the New Year by traveling back in time to the 181st anniversary of Dade's Battle Saturday and Sunday, where you can walk through authentic military and Seminole camps, watch the battle reenactment and learn about life in 1835. On a lighter note, stand-up comedians Max Dolcelli, Adam Avitable and Troy Wagner will spin a joke or two at the Clermont Performing Arts Center Friday. And, party in the streets at two First Friday events. Eustis First Friday Street Party is from 6 to 10 p.m. and First Friday Music on Montrose is from 6 to 9 p.m. in Clermont.
