42nd Annual Mount Dora Arts Festival

The 42nd Annual Mount Dora Arts Festival will be from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday with 286 artists exhibiting and selling their work.

“The Annual Mount Dora Arts Festival is a nationally ranked and recognized fine arts festival, known as one of the top fine arts festivals in the United States,” said Christine Rosenburg, marketing director for the Mount Dora Center for the Arts. “The festival showcases artwork from 286 national artists, featuring a high level of talents and skills, due to our juried-in process.”

In addition to the rows of fine art, including oil paintings, watercolors, acrylics, clay, sculpture and photography, the festival features local and regional musical entertainment at a main stage in Donnelly Park.

“This year, we’re inspiring children to appreciate looking at art and getting to choose what appeals to them as a form of art, by creating their own award ribbons, Rosenburg said. “This free activity found in the Kids Zone, allows children to decorate their own ribbons and award the artists for their artwork.”
