According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the man was driving west in a 2003 Chevrolet Malibu on I-4 in Seminole County, when he lost control at about 5:45 p.m. He sideswiped a concrete pole before hitting the barrier wall of the West Central Parkway.

An investigation is continuing, the FHP stated.
