How do you feel about the decision to eliminate courtesy busing for Lake County children who live within a two-mile radius of their public schools?

"I think it's wrong. The kids in elementary school, especially, are to young to walk, I don't care how close they live to their school."

Jewelee Tervo

"I understand that the county had to make cuts somewhere, but I don't agree it was a good place to do it. It's unfortunate that the kids have to suffer and that the cuts had to once again be associated with education."

Doreen Harricharan

Minneola

"I walked two miles to school when I was a kid and there were no buses. You just assumed you got up in the morning and walked."

Edward Morganto

Ocoee

"I completely disagree with it. It puts children who have to walk in unnessary danger. It's another way to cut expenses in the education department."

Lilli Pool

Clermont

" I have two kids, one in elementary and one in middle school, and no vehicle so It's going to be really inconvenient. I'm going to have to get up and walk them both to school before I go to work every morning because there is no way I am going to let them walk alone. It's too dangerous."
